Thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Ebrima Jallow. I was born in Bakau New Town, in The Gambia. I have been living in Minnesota since 2001.

Prior to becoming a member of the executive body, I witness numerous steps this Association has taken towards not only unifying or mobilizing The Gambian Community, but more importantly being so instrumental in cases needed. These characteristics primarily built my admiration for the association and the support and courage I gained from individuals like Pap Dibba, Lang Dibba, and Dawda Sowe Peaked my interest in becoming a part of the association. I am proud to be serving a community that I belong .

My job as a Social Secretary is to help maintain the existence of effective communication between the committee and the general community. With the help of other team members, I am also involved in the planning and executing social functions. One objective of The Gambian Association of Minnesota is to create a sense of helping one another and not to hurt one another. Accept one another and eliminate distance from one another.
